The Slanted Door

The Slanted Door is a high-end Vietnamese restaurant in San Francisco, California. Founded by Chef Charles Phan in 1995, it’s known for its modern twist on traditional Vietnamese dishes. Thanks to this collaboration between Williams Sonoma and The Slanted Door, Phan's recipes are easy to make at home. I had the opportunity to design the labels of these delicious sauces and bring The Slanted Door's sauces to life.

To capture the restaurant's natural and stylish vibe, we went with a sleek, straight-edged bottle and used cotton paper for the label. The modern typography paired with a watercolor background gives a nod to the beautiful San Francisco Bay. These design touches not only make the sauces look great but also bring a touch of elegance to the brand.
